Jetzt noch ein paar Drums dazu &#8211; und die Illusion ist perfekt!<\/p>\n<p>Das 42nd (Royal Highland) Regiment of Foot, auch bekannt als &#8220;The Black Watch&#8221;, war ein schottisches Linieninfanterieregiment der britischen Armee, das von 1739 bis 1881 bestand.<\/p>\n<p>Die Herkunft des Namens \u201eBlack Watch\u201c ist ungekl\u00e4rt. Der Name gilt sowohl f\u00fcr das Regiment als auch f\u00fcr den vom Regiment getragenen dunkelblau-schwarz-gr\u00fcnen Tartan, der fast schwarz aussah und im auff\u00e4lligen Kontrast zu den roten Uniformjacken stand. Dieser Tartan war sowohl der erste Milit\u00e4rtartan als auch der erste moderne Tartan. Offenbar entstand der Name schon im 17. Jahrhundert bei den Independent Highland Companies und es ist insbesondere umstritten, ob das Regiment nach dem Tartan, oder der Tartan nach dem Regiment benannt wurde.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-21702 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blog.zinnfigur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/GordonsHigh-01.jpg?resize=620%2C776&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"776\"><\/p>\n<p>Dieser Dudelsack-Spieler kann in allen Belangen \u00fcberzeugen. Mit 18 Bauteilen im Ma\u00dfstab 1:20 bringt es der Knabe auf rund 90 mm H\u00f6he.
